Film #114: WATER FOR ELEPHANTS (2011)

This was a good film but also slightly unbelievable. It's a (another) story about love. a forbidden love that overcomes all obstacles. All of you film fanatics out there reading this will realise that I just quoted Moulin Rouge (a brilliant film) and all of you who didn't then shame on you. I liked this film, it was based around Robert Pattinson's character Jacob and Reese Witherspoon's character Marlena falling in love. Both characters work for a travelling circus, Jacob as the circus vet and Marlena as a performer with elephants and other animals. It was beautifully shot and the costumes were spectacular. It was a good watch but very conventional of a romance film.
