Film #140: DARK SHADOWS (2012)

This was a charming Tim Burton film about a vampire waking up in the 20th century after being buried alive in the 18th century. It then follows how he copes with the new everyday lives of people as he stays with a family who are his descendants. I liked it but I know that it received lots of criticisms from other reviews. It is unlike any other Tim Burton film. I know this gets said a lot as none of Burton's films are similar but this is a chip of the block for the Burton film collection.
