Film #124: EVER AFTER (1998)

This was a very traditional take on the Cinderella tale but what was nice was that the Cinderella character Danielle (Drew Barrymore) was a smart and confident person as appose to the norm of these types of films where they are hopeless damsels in depresses. It also had strong moments of humour and very good pace to the film which was lovely to see. But at the same time this film was also still the same old tale with nothing new or exciting to it.
