Film #117: JURASSIC PARK (1993)

This was a Steven Spielberg classic film that just regained my faith in what films can be like. The idea. The plot. The acting. Everything was brilliant. For the few people that don't know what the film is about, it is based on the idea of humans being able to grow dinosaurs from DNA found. They then make this park to keep the animals in and are planning to make it like a zoo for visitors to view the dinosaurs in and make lots of money. So as the park is close to opening up they invite a handful of guests to check it out first, there's scientists, the finance people, as well as a few others go around the park but disaster strikes when the animals escape their cages and they all have to fight for survival. I in particular loved Jeff Goldblum as Ian Malcolm he was a wonderful character. He was the blunt honest kind which gave humour to the situation and lightened the mood of the film at parts.
