Film #252: THE KARATE KID (1984)

This is a classic family film. It's a really lovely story of a boy learning karate to compete and shows him overcoming obstacles to achieve his dream. It's a sweet movie and you can't help but route for Daniel to win. It's a lovely film. I haven't seen the remake but I'm sure it was a mistake.
