Film #269: THE ADVENTURES OF ROBIN HOOD (1938)

I love a good Robin Hood film and this definitely was a brilliant Robin Hood film. At points it was a little cheesy but it wasn't overboard. I thought that the film was composed very well. Also the costumes were really good considering the time in which this film was made. As well as the colour being a lot more under control than in the previous review. With films and eras like this I always wonder how amazing it must have been to see the turn of the colour film and to see how quickly to industry moved as a result of the new technology as it was definitely at a quicker pace than it is these days.
