Film #168: DO THE RIGHT THING (1989)

I didn't like this film, it just felt a bit pointless to me. This was mainly because the climax of the film was a street fight that gets out of control. I understand what Spike Lee was trying to achieve but it just didn't hit me in the feels (street talk, I'm down with the kids). But I did like the message behind it of actions having consequences and that we all need to do the right thing (hence the title). I'm glad I've seen it but I don't plan on watching again any time soon.
